Mayor’s Civic Dinner in Aid of The Sea Cadets
Guests will enjoy a welcome glass of Chapel Down fizz on arrival, a special menu chosen by The Mayor, along with an optional wine paring and charity auction. (Essence will be donating two books and a meal for two with a bottle of wine).
Sea Cadets is a national youth charity in the UK that offers adventure and personal development opportunities for young people aged 10 to 18. The organization provides various activities, including sailing, power-boating and life-saving skills, helping cadets build confidence and life skills. Trained volunteers, some with naval backgrounds serve as role models, guiding cadets and fostering a supportive environment.
As well as fund-raising for the Sea Cadets, David has also reintroduced the tradition of having a sea cadet supporting him at civic events during his term of office.
